Ekman-Larsson day to day for Coyotes with lower-body injury

Oliver Ekman-Larsson is day to day with a lower-body injury, and the Arizona Coyotes defenseman will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

Ekman-Larsson was injured during the second period of a 3-2 win at the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday and did not play in a 2-1 loss at the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.

He is second on the Coyotes with 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) in 49 games.

Arizona has its mandatory five-day break following the 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend and next plays Feb. 2, at the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center.
