FORWARDS
Andrei Svechnikov, LW/RW, CAR (36 percent owned in Yahoo): The Carolina Hurricanes rookie wing scored his ninth goal of the season and had two shots on goal in a win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday. Svechnikov has a three-game point streak totaling three goals, one assist, including one on the power play and 11 SOG. He is fourth on the Hurricanes in points (17) and SOG (92) in 31 games and is skating on a line with forwards Lucas Wallmark and Justin Williams, as well as the wing of the first power play. Svechnikov is a must-own fantasy asset in all league formats, especially in keeper and redraft leagues.
Alex Chiasson, RW, EDM (22 percent owned): The Edmonton Oilers right wing scored his 15th goal of the season and had one shot on goal against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. Chiasson has remained with elite forwards Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the top line and power play and has six points (four goals, two assists) and one power-play point in his past six games with 11 SOG. He has already set an NHL career-high in goals (15) and scored 19 points in 28 games, putting him on pace for an NHL career-high 50 points. As long as Chiasson retains exposure to McDavid and Draisaitl, he’s worth owning in all fantasy formats.
Kevin Hayes, C, NYR (19 percent owned): The New York Rangers center had three assists in their loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday. Hayes has four consecutive multipoint games, totaling nine points points (three goals, six assists), including three power-play points, and is centering a line with wings Chris Kreider (67 percent owned) and Pavel Buchnevich (8 percent owned). Hayes is on the point of the top power play with forwards Kreider, Mika Zibanejad and Mats Zuccarello and defenseman Neal Pionk. Hayes is second on the Rangers with 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 32 games, putting him on pace to break the 60-point barrier for the first time in his NHL career. He is a must-own streaming option in all league formats.

Adam Henrique, C, ANH (14 percent owned): The Anaheim Ducks center had an assist, one shot on goal and two hits in an overtime win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. Henrique, who has eight points (two goals, six assists) in his past 12 games, is centering the second line with wings Daniel Sprong (RW, 2 percent owned) and Nick Ritchie (LW, 6 percent owned) and skating on the top power play with elite center Ryan Getzlaf. He is fourth on the Ducks with 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) and has 45 SOG in 34 games.
Josh Leivo, LW/RW, VAN (8 percent owned): The Vancouver Canucks wing has four points (three goals, 1 assists) and 12 SOG in seven games since being acquired in a trade on Dec. 3 from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Leivo is skating with elite forwards Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson and should be added with this lineup exposure. If he continues to produce, he could eventually see power play usage making him worthy of a roster spot in deeper leagues.
Jesperi Kotkaniemi, C, MTL (5 percent owned): The Montreal Canadiens rookie center scored his fourth goal of the season and had one assist and four shots on goal in a win against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Kotkaniemi (5 percent owned in Yahoo) has points in four of his past six games totaling one goal, four assists, and 13 SOG over the span. He is skating on a line with Paul Byron and Artturi Lehkonen and centering a power play line with Byron, forwards Tomas Tatar (55 percent owned) and Andrew Shaw, and defenseman Mike Reilly. Kotkaniemi should be monitored as a streaming option in league formats and is worth rostering in DFS contests, especially with four games this week (tied for most in the NHL).
Zach Aston-Reese, C/LW/RW, PIT (4 percent owned): The Pittsburgh Penguins forward is skating on a line with elite forwards Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel. Aston-Reese has four points (two goals, two assists) in his past three games and is providing category coverage in that span with nine shots on goal and 19 hits. He will be a low-cost, high-reward streaming option if he can retain his exposure to Malkin and Kessel.

DEFENSEMEN
Josh Morrissey, WPG (55 percent owned): The Winnipeg Jets defenseman had one assist, two hits and four SOG in a win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday. Morrissey has eight points (two goals, six assists), two power-play points and 12 SOG in five games since returning from a lower-body injury Dec. 9. He is skating on the first defense pair with Jacob Trouba and second power play with forward Nikolaj Ehlers, Bryan Little, Mathieu Perreault and defenseman Tyler Myers. With exposure to Winnipeg’s elite forwards at even strength, Morrissey is a streaming option and worth adding in most league formats.
Darnell Nurse, EDM (53 percent owned): The Oilers defenseman is making the most out of an expanded offensive role with teammate Oscar Klefbom (hand; IR) out for at least two weeks. Nurse had one assist in a loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday and nine points (three goals, six assists), one power-play point, seven hits and 23 shots on goal in his past eight games. Nurse is skating on the top defense pair and is running the point on the first power play with forwards McDavid, Draisaitl, Chiasson and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Nurse was on fantasy radars before the injury to Klefbom, but with his expanded role he is a must-own asset until Klefbom returns.
Others to consider: Colton Parayko, STL; Esa Lindell, DAL; Hampus Lindholm, ANA; Jake Muzzin, LAK; Tyler Myers, WPG; Duncan Keith, CHI
GOALIES
Jacob Markstrom, VAN (42 percent owned): The Vancouver Canucks goalie stopped 20 of 22 shots in a 4-1 win against the Oilers on Sunday. It was his fifth consecutive win where he has allowed nine goals over the span. Markstrom has 13 wins in 25 games and is 6-1-1 with a 2.13 goals-against average and .923 save percentage in his past eight games. He is worth adding in most league formats and is an intriguing target for spot starts and DFS rosters.
