Corey Crawford was placed on injured reserve by the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday after he sustained a concussion Sunday against the San Jose Sharks.
The 33-year-old goalie was injured when teammate Dylan Strome crashed into him with 1:30 left in the first period of a 7-3 loss.
Crawford missed the final 47 games of 2017-18 and the first five this season recovering from a concussion.

He is 6-14-2 with a 3.28 goals-against average and .902 save percentage. In 432 NHL games, all with Chicago, he is 236-138-47. In the Stanley Cup Playoffs, he is 48-37 with a 2.29 GAA and .919 save percentage, helping the Blackhawks win the Cup in 2013 and 2015.
Chicago recalled goalie Collin Delia from Rockford of the American Hockey League on Monday. He played two games for the Blackhawks last season and was 1-1-0 with a 3.96 GAA and .889 save percentage.
